Flights and Travel into Murray Region

By Air

The Murray Region is well-connected to major cities and international airports located nearby. If you are traveling from outside Australia, you can first fly to either Sydney (in New South Wales) or Melbourne (in Victoria).

Flying to Melbourne:

By Train

Train travel is another option to reach the Murray Region. There are regular train services that connect Melbourne and Sydney with major towns within the region.

If you are coming from Melbourne, you can take a V/Line train to Albury, which is a town located on the Victorian side of the Murray River. From there, you can explore other destinations within the Murray Region.

If starting your journey from Sydney, you can take a CountryLink train to one of the towns in the Murray Region, such as Wagga Wagga or Albury, and then continue your exploration from there.

By Bus
